This Shavuot bingo game is a fun way for children to review the Aseres Hadibros after learning about Matan Torah. It’s great for classrooms, or to play with children in shul on Shavuot. On Yom Tov, children can use chocolate chips or another small treat to cover the pictures instead of marking the boards.

The teacher or group leader begins by using the bingo cards to review each picture and explain how it connects to Shavuot, Har Sinai, and the giving of the Torah. To play, cut out the bingo cards and mix them up. The teacher calls out a letter and a matching picture card. If a player has that picture on their board, they can cover it or cross it off.

Variations:

The game can also be adapted for different ages and levels.

For players with more advanced knowledge, instead of naming the picture directly the leader can say the Hebrew name or possuk and only players who recognize the matching picture can mark it on their board.

For players with basic knowledge, the leader can describe the picture without saying its name.

Or, the leader can also ask a question and only players who recognize the answer can mark it.
